“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” picks up right where the first film left off, with Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) navigating the uncharted territory of an actual relationship. But just as things seem settled, another boy from Lara Jean’s past resurfaces, threatening to throw a wrench into their newfound romance.
The film retains the charm of its predecessor, with Condor and Centineo delivering the same sweet chemistry. The supporting cast remains a highlight, particularly Lara Jean’s sisters. However, the plot feels a bit predictable compared to the first film’s fresh take. While the introduction of a love triangle adds some conflict, it doesn’t stray far from familiar teen rom-com territory.
“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” is a perfectly enjoyable sequel, but it doesn’t quite recapture the magic of the original. It’s a cute and light watch, ideal for fans of the first film and anyone craving a dose of adolescent romance.
